There will be no spanish side in this year's Europa league quarter finals as the last hope of spain Levante also lost out to Rubin Kazan who will now face Chelsea in the quarters. It is a far cry from the yesteryears where spanish teams have been the most consistent winners of this event. Levante who have been in indifferent form in Laliga were always the second favorites behind Kazan. It is worth mentioning here that it was Kazan who had ousted the defending champions Athletico De Madrid in the previous round and they proves to be the predator again for the spanish teams in this year's Europa League.Just like the first game, the match was a dull affair and devoid of any clear cut chances. After another goalless draw, the match went into extra time, with
Rondon and Dyadyun finally wrapping up the tie for the Russians.
